Carburetor Recommendation

No one has answered this clearly anywhere . Are the Holly 1920 and the carter 1bbl totally innerchangeable ? Also what carter number ? I have 71 duster has a carter on it and my friend has a 71 duster with a Holly on it . Are they swap-able ? Do they hook the linkage the same ? I can’t tell from pics
