Test fitting the Borgeson ps box early A

Smart move . I had to buy the Borgeson box because the stock box wouldnt fit with the Dougs headers. I had to message one tube so the coupler would clear. Im using the same coupler you have. Its actually slightly smaller than the factory one. Good luck.

I got my Doug’s to fit without denting anything but my neck was wrenched twisting around and around -like was up and down and up and down. I shifted my headers toward each other with a wratchet strap and made my connecting tubes (Doug’s to TTI exhaust) so the headers were forced to clear. After a few starts and stops the headers relaxed to their new position. AND without damaging the coating. They never touched the factory box but boy they were close. I checked PS fluid temps after a run and it was 20degree hotter than with the manifolds. I am actually building a ps cooler for the return to help with heat. Hot rodding is expensive!
