If you are going dumpster dive, swap meet and kick over rocks to buy your parts the Chrysler will be more expensive. Always has been.
When you start building something with other than OE parts the prices are the same.
If it’s so much cheaper to build a Ford, by all means build one. If 315 bucks crimps your budget find another hobby.
This isn’t hard, but it must be too hard for you because even the smallest bump in the road is a huge mountain for you. You’ve been given so much good advice across many threads and yet you still argue and pull another “yeah but” out of your hat and name 10 reasons why you can’t do something. Yet every day, parts are bought and sold, cars are built and people enjoy doing both.
It gets old Dan. Maybe set your project back another year and save up more cash. Or get a better understanding of what budget you really need to build something worth having.
