What's 50 hp going to decrease that time by? .5 seconds? Maybe. Still 14.00+ in the 1/4.
"Ticked off" is so subjective but let's keep it real. A 50 horsepower increase over a dismal stock production figure isn't impressive enough for most people to come to that conclusion, unless you have bias.
I love that you have figured out the electronics on your 3.6. Most impressive. The weight reduction is probably the most appealing thing since the power numbers aren't but a slight increase over the "fake" stock 340 numbers.
Keep in mind the factory numbers on the performance cars like 340 equipped units were intentionally held back for insurance purposes. For example, a T/A 340 6 bbl was rated at 290 horsepower from the factory. JBA Speedshop (JBA Headers) had a, rebuilt to stock spec, T/A engine on their dyno and it made 358 hp and 347 lb/ft with a tune up.
Now, add some boost to that thing to make it go from "Neat" to "Wow"!
