Those tabs on the sides you have circled sit on top of the grille support to give the correct spacing. The grille dhould not sit on the support there needs to be a gap. It also sits on top of the upper support

Ok, understood. I can zoom into your pic and see those tabs do not fall down into the lower support.

What about the up and down movement of the grill between the upper and lower supports. Is there a way to tighten that up so the grill is nice and secure?
