Stop in for a cup of coffee

I had to do some do-si-do and bumpin and prying to get my assembly out past the hoist legs and thats lifting at the front. His hoist will be way farther in to grab the engine. So yeh, definitely need to figure that out. Is it just the K, or other stuff still on it? K alone is not that heavy. I put mine back in fully assembled as well. But if you just put it together piece by piece, might not be too big of a problem but would prob need 2 people getting the K back in place.

I'm doing the suspension restoration along with the brake conversion so I need to pull the struts to replace those bushings anyhow and I have a new steering box. Looking at everything my thought is to remove or loosen those points of attachment to the rest of the car. Struts, Pitman Arm, Steering box and motor mounts. I can get the new mounts and steering box placed on the replacement K-frame ahead of time and could probably bring the floor jack under the K from the other side to lift it in place to reattach before reinstalling the struts and pitman.... It'll probably be very busy underneath there as I figure out the needed real estate for all that to happen :D
