have not been active in years but due to life changes, I am getting ready to finally work on my cars.
Can you run a early gearset, lets say 69, in a overdrive a body maincase?
Has any one done or tried this?
Most O/D main cases use the 308 input bearing and the countershaft "floats" or has slop in it and is shorter. I go the other way so I can use the 307 input bearing and use whatever bellhousing I want. The non "floating" countershaft also tightens up your trans.
