1972 Dodge Colt
Still herding cats.
For every step forward, seems I get another setback.
This weekend I cut the front motor plate for a water pump.
Installed a radiator overflow can.
Also mounted a Moroso water pump drive system.
I bought the system from Amazon and saved about 50 from the Summit price.
Found a lower hose that will work and I am about half way on the top hose.
Top fitting on this rad is on the wrong side for a slant.
Then on Saturday I had a guy over buying some heads.
When he got here I kept hearing a hissing, like an air compressor.
I walked on the passenger side of the Colt and damn if that tube has gone bad!
Same as the one that went bad last year.
That was a solid kick in the shorts.
Tonight I pulled the tube, sure enough the stem was half way detached.
I will call hoosier tomorrow and try to get an answer from their experts.
