What we drank back then in High school was Busch beer , cheap Budweiser. It was 9 dollars and some change a case, and on Ice it did the trick. I weaned off Bud in my 20s but my friends still drink it.In my mid 30s I schooled one of my buddies i was like "why do you still drink Bud? don't you know there's better beer out there now?" Mickeys malt liquor was another one the big mouth barrel bottle that also had to be iced down IMO.
