do the one piece two wire ones snap in? And are correct? There is a slot between the two saddles on the valve cover tabs.

so use the little snap on grommets or two wire single piece? The shop manual doesn't show it? Yea I know….damn purists !

If there's a slot on the tabs, the valve covers are for the dual type wire retainers.

One advantage of the dual retainer is that you can snap 8mm wires into them. Can't do that with the single wire clips, as Syleng1 found out.
