Lets make the best real world *MPG* THREAD EVER !!

My 68 barracuda with a fairly worn 318, stock cam, stock heads with 340 valve springs, performer intake,670 holley, dougs headers, 904 with 2800 stall, 3.23 gears and 26” tire will still get around 16-17 mpg at 60.

2003 dakota with 3.9 5spd, 3.23 with 29” tires and 375,000 miles still gets 19-20 mpg at 65 mph. I’m the original owner of the dakota, motor has not been rebuilt yet.

85 s-10, 350 with 670 holley, performer intake, comp xe268 hyd flat, headers, 700r4 with 2500 stall, 3.25 gears with 26” tire, 15 mpg average, sometimes 17 if i’m lucky at 65mph
