James’ 1974 W200 build

This is far as I got today…. I pulled a shoulder muscle. It’s rest time for a bit. I also noticed I have some extra bracing? IDK, you seem to have a straight shot from the header back and I have this brace. A vacuum ball “was” mounted there. I just moved out of the way for now. It was directly in front of the header exit. I have no idea what is hooked to it. Just two vacuum lines. There’s a few more vacuum lines that run up and over the transfer case. A third one, a big large, is also attached up there somewhere! IDK what the heck is up with those things!

But! Drivers header in!
Placed the Dynomax X muffler to approximately where it’s going to go.
Tomorrow, Starter. I probably have to loosen the drivers header up. Glad that one was easy. I’ll run the exhaust pipe from the drivers side to the X muffler.

What I did, (& probably an expensive way….) was purchase a bunch of 90* bends from (brand) Summit. 8 in total. 2-1/2 ID adapters and U clamps. I’d like to weld this up later.
