These companies and unions have to smarten up. I said to my wife both sides know when the date is so if they don't come to an agreement before that date then both sides get a 1 million dollar fine each day till it's settled. Bet there wouldn't be any strikes or lock outs etc. Both sides know when the date is so buckle down and get er done.

There was a time and a place for unions back when there were no government regs, but these days with work place health and safety, standard wage laws, government pensions, “I know but still” we all have bought into retirement plans other than the unions give or the government. All the unions do is drive the prices up. The unions ***** the dollar doesn’t buy enough any more we need a raise, well that’s because the other unions got their raise and the prices went up. In all my years in BAC the only thing except raise my wages they did was protect the slackers. My opinion.
