Not perfect but it works and no leaks. (first try) The flex lines are a saver. Thanks to a particular you tube vid for the Fleck valve. Late yesterday we had soldering issues. I voted we walk away and come back today.. Much better this morning. We cut out some bad couplers and elbows and went back to old school solder prep with emery cloth, steel wool, and some new Flux. I set the Map gas torch aside and went with the good ol' propane. Perfect sweat solder joints and no leaks. We also switched locations of his washer/dryer so the doors didn't block each other and installed a couple anti-hammer valves. Another successful project. Sorry for rambling. I'm had fun working side by side with him. We noticed after we were done that the softener tank was leaning and the brine tank wasn't. Looks like it is a little crooked in the black base. Nope, Shim it. I'm not going to attempt to fix it. It all works, don't screw with it any more. LOL
