1969 Dodge Dart Swinger clean up
Passenger side came apart very easily, just by rocking the glass back and forth.
Drivers side, someone injected some super glue or something. Glass clamped to the table on top of some bubble wrap.
Close your eyes....
Held pressure for almost 5 minutes and then it finally started to lift.
All cleaned up ready for their new holders.
First we need the lock knobs off the old ones
Punching out the small retainer pin. You don't need to fully remove it, just far enough so it clears the post hole.
New base, wavy washer and the lock knob. Lock knob took a trip to the buffer and back.
A bit of white grease on the shafts and then assemble. Wavy washer and then the lock knob.
Channel locks to press the pin back in flush.
