1969 Dodge Dart Swinger clean up
Glass setting tape. This 0.060" worked great on my Bee vent glass, but a bit tight on these ones. 0.050" would have been perfect, but I just used a bigger hammer :rolleyes: as I don't have any 0.050".
Cut a strip and lay it on top of the glass holder.
Push the glass down by hand and line the rear edge up with the rear edge of the holder. Then make sure it's firmly into place and fully engaged with the hammer... the RUBBER one!
Trim off the excess setting tape with an exacto knife.
Almost done.
Tape each end off, glass and holder. Front end.
Rear end.
Fill the gap with gasket maker.
Force it into the gap and smooth with your finger and then peel the tape.
Ready for install tomorrow once the gasket maker has cured.
