Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was working on a friends 72 chevelle and he wanted to put the trans in. He has a lift and a shop so I thought; "no problem, get out the transmission jack and we will just lower the car over it and put the bolts in." no.
got 4 dudes and just heaved ho'ed the trans on our shoulders and tried to line it up. The thing is, he got the wrong bolts. So for about 5 minutes i'm trying to thread bolts in while everyone is slowly crumbling under the weight of the thing.
Eventually he got a ratchet strap and a 4x4 to hold it in place so we wouldn't drip it on our domes. not fun.
When I pull my trans out, I am definitely making a jig out of wood that will fit the trans pan so I won't have to heave it and tear something.
