I run a Black Spider on my AR pistol and a Primary Arms on my carbine, both function as well as expected. Some of the lower price point dots are actually made by some of the higher end brands just like many things in the market today.

I have discovered a new zero point that eliminates thinking about ballistics to a certain degree. No thinking about holdovers or unders, point and shoot from 25 yds out to 300yds it does pretty well.
