I understand. Just let me say this. If you have enough mechanical ability to change your oil, you can rebuild that transmission, if it's necessary. They are really very simple.
I already did a rebuild. I did everything on my car except the paint job.
I rebuilt my transmission 3 times.
1st time everything went fine.
2nd time I changed the converter from hughes to TCI (hoping to kill the vibration I am still facing). The converter exploded somehow and I had to clean and rebuild it again.
After the 3rd rebuild it started leaking.
I changed every gasket, every seal, but I couldn’t find it…
If I have to I will rebuild the TCI.
I know that TCI is not the best.
They sent me the tranny with a converter which’s holes didn’t align with the flexplate and the converter before exploded…:wtf:
