But NJ price is still on average usually cheaper than most other states.
And they pay people to pump gas.
Now how does that happen? Clearly the lower price is not due to having one of the highest taxes, or the added cost of employees, or being in a state with relatively high land ownership cost.
Go figure.
Just goes to show the 'obvious' answers clearly aren't the only, or even the largest factors here.
