67 Barracuda - First signs of life in 25 yrs!

The old carb had small parts (not part of rebuild kit) that Father Time had worked over, so I broke down and got a Chinesium Clone of it. I have set all adjustments to match original. Fingers crossed.

Basic Petronix ignition with their coil to eliminate ballast resistor. I cleaned the old resistor’s white shell, removed the actual resistor and replaced it with an insulated 10 (or was it 12?) gauge wire. From the outside, it looks like any other ballast resistor.

I have a nice set of incorrect year rallye wheels when I actually get that far.
