I’m starting to question why I still have a race car. Vegas is my closest track at 125 miles, but they quit racing at night about 5 years ago. Hanging out in a sea of asphalt on a hot day has little appeal to me anymore. I only ran two events this spring. March Meet at Famoso and Mopars/muscle cars at the strip. Both 3-4 day shows. My “next” gig I’m planning on attending is probably my final visit to Sacramento Raceway for a Mopar event late in September. That’s a 9hr pull for us and approx 90 gal of fuel. I checked some schedules and just decided to pull the wheels off the trailer for the summer. My mindset currently is that I value the social value of these events over the actual racing. Guess I got 5mos to kill. Maybe I can find the motivation to pull the 904 and inspect it. It’s performing just fine, but were at mid 80’s in passes and for how basic it is I’m surprised:)
