What Points Distributor Do Experts Recommend?

There is nothing wrong with the stock single points distributer. Mine dyno'ed at over 6k rpm. Areas of concern= worn bushings causing a variation in dwell and timing, cheap points causing a high speed miss or a bad vacuum advance causing stumbling and detonation.

LOL there isn't? Mopar single point dist.s are some of the worst in the industry. Spark scatter, just plain variation, if you are going to run something anywhere near 5K+ "very much" I'd "do something else.

The fact is you can't BUT decent breaker point dist's that I know of, anymore. "Back in the day" the old Mallory, or Accel, or if you are lucky, score yourself a 340 factory Prestolite dual point. But some of those, you can barely or "not" get points and parts for, anymore.

IF IT WERE ME I'd put a Mopar breakerless in there, get it in good shape and curved, and either run Mopar electronics or a GM 4 pin module
