Slacker's Guide to Fixing Up the 68 Notch
BOB!! There was a rumor going around that they figured out what happened to Jimmy Hoffa so I thought there still might be a chance you'd show up too. (hopefully not buried 6 ft. underground in a 55 gallon drum)
I should berate you for thinking about ditching the Barracuda but hopefully this Polaris you refer to will be a good replacement. My son just sold his '70 Roadrunner so I realize that the love affairs we have with our vehicles sometimes wanes with time. You'll have to post more pics of the new mistress. -
OK, when you mentioned the Polaris RS1 I wasn't sure what it was. I figured it was sort of like my old '64 Polara. So....... I Googled it.
WTF! (excuse my abbreviated French) I think you've gone off the deep end! It's almost like you're trading in the 'Cuda for a toaster oven!
I do understand that these off-road gizmos are a lot of fun. Heck, I've owned 4 Honda Odysseys (2FL-250s and 2 FL-350s). View attachment 1715922889 View attachment 1715922890 View attachment 1715922891
BUT... it seems to me that the Polaris would enhance your garage if it was sitting beside the Barracuda instead of looking all lonely by itself.
Last year I managed to build a pair of 2-seater go-karts for Teresa's grandkids. They're big enough to fit adults but still relatively compact. - Just 212cc motors that'll do around 30 mph but still fun around the yard. Our old Honda FL-350s would do 65 down the road and were more like a mini dune buggy. We got em upside down a few times while ditch hopping and racing.
LOL, WRONG VEHICLE ! No pics at this time , 110h.p. , 4 wheel drive , 18'' of suspension , single center seat , looks like a roundy round modified , gage and all.
