Stop in for a cup of coffee

So this is scary. The average person drives 23.6 miles to work one way in Indiana. With the average vehicle on the road in Indiana getting 22.1 mpg.

so 23.6x2= 57.2/22.1=2.588 gallons a day.

2.5889x5.559=14.39 dollars to go to work each day. Average starting wage in Indiana is 13.5 an hour. Which means just to get to work, your first 2 hours(figuring taxes into this) is working just to pay to go to work. which translates to 25 percent of your work week paying just to go to work. 10 hours out of a 40 hour week. That’s flipping nuts.

Now before anyone says to increase the wages... that’s part of why prices have surged!! Inflation 101
