Yes, the 340 and 360 ears on the block are closer together than the 273/318 blocks. The correct bracket will have a narrower span to match. Nothing wrong with spacing like what was done, unless you just don't like the look. I's start by ordering the correct mount (assuming you want a stock rubber one) and go from there. If you're racing and want to continue using a solid mount, leave it the way it is, or go rubber and use a torque strap.
