My lower back is junk
I learned this a while back, and try to remind myself of it often- every one pound of extra weight in the belly area adds three pounds of pressure to the spine. Most (not all) of the guys complaining of back pain are over weight. So we have to exercise to protect the back, and eat sensibly. Good luck to us. We just keep eating wings, pizza, and other bad stuff, and then we don't strengthen are core muscles.
