Dyno day in the books. Had a few small things I had to fix while jt was on there. Air bubble in the a2w suction line which caused it not to pump. Simply disconnected and drain for a few second and hooked it back up and it cleared it.
I misread the wiring on the pump and only wired it for low pressure. Found the issue as fuel pressure started to drop off after getting into boost. Put power to the yellow wire and we had full speed/pressure on the pump. Then toward she end we kept losing cam/crank synchronization causing it to abort some runs. On the final pull it lost sync and backfired a little but. Nothing harmful to the motor just the safety in the ecm doing its job. But it also took the o2 sensor with the percussion.
Other than those issues it was successful. Drove it uo there switched it over to e85, did pulls throughout the day and drove it on the trailer after. Win win.
5.5 psi she made 640whp
10psi she made 750whp
16 psi she made 913whp
20psi she made 1000whp which is where we stopped for the day.
After being bout fed up with the struts on the back a friend of mine and I got to work on fibbing up these new strutless mounts for the wing and they came out great and fit perfect. Even with only one bolt in and no rivets, I could lift the trunk open by the wing and have no flex. I do have to get actual satin paint as I grabbed the wrong can. But they'll be painted to match the wing before I rivet them down.
