Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yes, "They were on the car when I bought it" probably doesn't fly eh??

Thanks guys. Good points
Funny/not funny story. The 1st insurance policy I sold when I worked for Farmers was to a guy with a 2000 Porsche out of Richmond Indiana. He rarely drove it but one day, he was driving down I74 and blew a right front, hooked a guardrail and knocked over the exit sign that shows what all restaurants were at that exit. So the claims adjust goes out, meets me there, at the tow yard, first thing he did was walk up to the tires, pull out this little book, and compared the tires. Now this was 2014. The tires… were made in 1998. They were the very set that came on the thing when the guy ordered it new. The car barely had 50k on it. Insurance denied the claim under those grounds. Guy took them to court but lost due to the clause that if it is determined to be a preventable accident due to negligence of the owner for known mechanical or maintenance items. The dude had been shopping for tires and had the estimated in the glove box of the car dating back 18 months prior to the accident.
