Mopar 400 block 8 sleeves

Hi, it was good for a long time. Then my spring pressure dropped too much, I didn’t link lash change after short distance with potential problem and wheel got hammered into lifter body. There was a lot of luck as oil filter contained all the shavings and lifter body contained all the needles.
The bad is that lifter took a cam with it.

So moving on now there are two ideas for cams, both from Ken at Oregon Cam Grinders.

262/268 @.050” 430 lobes 108+4

268/272 @.050” 481/446 lobes 109+4

The 2nd one seems crazy but what your view on this?
Lift can be changed as these grinds are custom so plan was to make 450 lobes for the 1st option.

Last cam in this engine was 259/263 @.050” 450 lobes 108+4.
11:1, my converter stalled around 4500 with it. If I had say 12:1 the bigger one would sound great. Since I’m still learning I need to get more knowledgeable people opinions here.

I have around 2 weeks to make up my mind.
Yes I street drive the car a lot, but let’s say if cops see how I do it I’m in trouble, so really no sitting in traffic idling forever… It’s more like on the sticker that my buddy had in his cuda “drive it like you stole it”

Also local guy has comp 23-706-9 which is 263/270 @.050” 434 lobes 108+4.
Comp says it’s perfect for my combo…

So what do I do with this. To be honest I kinda want the big cam but still want some drivability, I take my kids to school with this thing often ;-)
