Uh-huh, 2011 is more than 7 years ago isn't it? The new stuff is made overseas, you have old stock parts there.

At this point, the original poster needs to dive in hands on and see what's going on. Suggestion box is full.

Take a lot of pictures to show the connection points, overall shot, etc, if O.P. doesn't see something wrong himself.

Recommendations can only go so far without being there.
