What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Cut a hole thrpugh the trunk to see the damaged crossmember better. Accidentally cut a bit into the crossmember as well, but that's luckily the easier thing to fix up.
The last owner fixed these oval holes with ******* epoxy filler. No wonder the shock came loose. My plan is now to cut this "check hole" a bit larger, fix the damage I made to crossmember, enlargen the oval holes and weld in a solid steel bushing I made today. In the images you can see it on a shock, that will be welded to the crossmember. Should be stronger than original
