Ballpark Value

Here's my 2 cents...

  1. If the car is registered as the GTS vin you have issues if you sell it, good reason to keep it.
  2. If it is registered as the donor car no problem selling it but it is now a "tribute" car and the value is no where near what a real GTS would bring.
  3. As for the swap. If that's what you want go for it regardless of pricing.
  4. IMHO the dart is way cooler than the Ford. And in my HS yearbook senior quote I said I was going to have a 34 Ford some day.
  5. There were about 4000 connverts made each of the 3 years, of that maybe 1/2 are still in existence, of that 1/2 might still be on the road. 12,000/2=6000, 6000/2= 3000. I know where 6 are that are still on the road and 2 that are parts cars. That's not counting the ones here on FABO. So as for rare... You can get repo 34 Ford body's and parts, no challenge on that.
  6. As for top up or down, I'm 60, mine stays down 24/7, I live in Colorado and drive it every month of the year. If the wife won't go with you go without her!
