Stop in for a cup of coffee

As many of you on this thread know, I lost my buddy Gunner on Saturday the 16th in Carlisle. I was with him when he died at 11:45 a.m. He was with me for 13 years. We had many many good years together. I am blessed that he did not pass away while I was still in Vietnam. I am thankful that I had almost 3 weeks to be with him before he passed away. Mentally I was prepared for this as he was getting rather old. But I was not emotionally prepared. I'm having him cremated, and next year when I come back to Carlisle I'm going to bring a small amount of his ashes to sprinkle over my swap spots. I want to offer my heartfelt thank you to all of you that were there that helped me, and consoled me in my time of grief. This group of men on this thread are truly awesome and good friends of mine. Thank you all so much again.

With that said, let me send out my condolences and prayer for strength and healing , I know it will be forever on your mind and in your hart, these great four legged family members are so important to us, our health and happiness as we start our days, I am truly sad at this time, but glad Gunner was with you as he passed
