So today I worked on my 73 Valiant I adjusted the carb and set the timing at about 8*BTDC and that's about the best spot it runs at. Drove it around the block and looks like I got to do some more adjusting or replacing parts on the old gal but not sure if I want to put money into it. To fix it up would be lots more than it's worth and that is just getting it reliable.
Think it's best to put it away for now and think about what I'll do with it.
Have on old ford 1/2 ton like that. Couple hundred bucks every 3,4 years just to keep it up and running, well worth having that spare vehicle around. Used it many times over the years. In Manitoba you can get a temporary plate 5 days $35 4 times a year, no safety required as long as you’ve had it registered in Manitoba before
