Yeah....having a great platform to start with , but i dont know what i want !!

Which is exactly why the SRT4 swap is ideal for the Valiant. I considered doing an SRT4 or Pentastar swap in my Duster, but only briefly because it just wouldn’t seem right having that type of exhaust note coming from a car like a Duster. Now, for my 67 Valiant? Absolutely! In fact, I considered doing a pentastar swap in it, then I decided I was going to do the SRT4 swap. However, since the primary use of the Valiant will be driver/family vehicle, I have since decided to go even farther off the rails and do a 1.9L VW ALH TDI swap.

I second the SRT-4 or TDI swap. TDIs are awesome but parts are expensive like all VW engines and I'm not sure what you'd have to do for a transmission to fit in a RWD car? Nice thing about factory turbo engines, you can get quite a bit more HP out of them without having to tear them apart and swap internal components. Bolt-ons, increased boost and a good tune will give huge gains compared to an N/A engine.
