I second the SRT-4 or TDI swap. TDIs are awesome but parts are expensive like all VW engines and I'm not sure what you'd have to do for a transmission to fit in a RWD car? Nice thing about factory turbo engines, you can get quite a bit more HP out of them without having to tear them apart and swap internal components. Bolt-ons, increased boost and a good tune will give huge gains compared to an N/A engine.
There’s a company making adapter plates to bolt the ALH up to various transmissions. They don’t have the sb Mopar adapter available yet, but hopefully will have by the time I’m ready to start messing with it.
