Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hired the a guy to split my firewood. $150. Budget wise, doesn't really make sense. A lot of it is Silver Maple, which is not even very good fire wood. But it is here, and it will burn. If his price was any higher I would have given this away and bought a cord of Oak for 200. LOL After spending most of my available time doing the bathroom for the last 2 months I need to take something off my list. And that is the thing most likely to cause a strain or something that would stop me from getting other stuff done. The good news is the new crapper is installed and I just put up a grab bar by the shower. So, other than adding any little junk on walls...IT IS DONE!

Last time I bought firewood I bought a whole semi. 15 pulp cord. 4x4x8 each. $500. Hard maple. Best firewood as it will leave a perfect bed of coals to keep the fireplace or wood stove burning 24/7. 2 kids from town cut, split and stacked it for $300. Sold. Took them 1 day.
