Exactly, Jodi runs a property management company on the side and it amazes me how little value most realtors bring in todays property landscape. To your point the typical (not all) realtor lets the client do the work and then skims a commission for nothing but getting you on the MLS data base. Just my opinion but I think realtors are going the way of the travel agent and photo hut.
