Went wrecking yard digging today.

True old car enthusiasts. I have never meet any finer folk. They continually are bring in new stock! One at a time usually.
I lived in Missouro from '79 to 2016. A true "old car state". I watched so many great yards disappear there.
Owners die, retire, life goes on for the rest of us humans but the old cars just disappear and go away.
I say today, 99% of the old cars and parts are in the hands of us enthusiasts. Sad when one of us die and there is no one to take over the parts we have accumulated. We have spent untold hours and $$ usually accumulating these old parts. I think we always want them to go to a new home to be used. We don't want to give all them away generally and we don't wan our heirs to send them to the crusher.
I am so glad I got 99% of my old parts gone decades ago.
It makes me sad, and somehow pissed off at the same time...
