Had to replace the brake line going from the master cyl to the proportioning valve for the rear brakes. Not too bad of a job. But THEN, off we go to the never-ending land of bleeding the brakes!! Used a Jeg's vacuum bleeder system but it's still a nasty, messy, slimy job. Gotta be sure no brake fluid gets on the paint, etc, etc. Finished it off with the old-fashioned way of my wife in the car manning the pedal and me playing with the bleeder screws. Got-r-done but not my favorite job!
Culprit line...has a minute crack or something somewhere before the lower fitting.
