I enrolled in the Ornamental Iron class at our local community college at about 50 years old :lol:. The looks I got from the other students were classic :rofl:. The instructor had a really good reputation that covered more than just our area. He had specialized tools in the shop there that I had never encountered and I wanted to give them a go. After a couple class nights he said "You've done this before, haven't ya?" "I've been gas welding and brazing since I was like 12, stick welding didn't start till I was about 20." :lol:
