Stop in for a cup of coffee
Since I now work at the restoration shop, I have weekends free. This enabled me to clean out the garage, clean the drain pans under the duster, organize all my tools, and generally get caught up on a lot of things that had fallen behind.
This included messing with the carter I bought and trying to figure it out. Like the accelerator pump nozzles doing nothing and why the carb has no idle speed screw. all the leaks are gone now thank god but for today I put the QFT back on it.
But before I put it on I decided to "clean up" the intake
It changed the tune completely. it was pig rich when I fired it up after this. seems louder too.
