7875 + 5.9 + E85 + Megasquirt

I meant an actual cutting at say, the curve part of the tank and making the front a flat piece of metal. I could draw a picture better than I can describe it.
How about this way, cut three inches off the front of the tank and put in a flat sheet of metal. Not sure where that messes with the sending unit if it's being used.
