I did not change the location of the rod mount. Drilled the dowel out and put a bolt in.

I wonder if some of the reason @goldduster318 had to change his pedal was because he had a pedal with the 6" pin to pin ratio?

68-76 4 speed pedals compatibility?

You still have a shorter ratio than he calculated, but sounds like it works fine either way.
