Sides and drinks are fractional cost of doing business... 14.99 for 16oz is 1.06 per ounce ....so that package would be $40.00 and I can't imagine the volume of meat that Texas Roadhouse procures...but if they are making $3.5 BILLION a year I'm guessing they are getting a pretty good deal.
So are commercial enterprises like TRH or others soaking up the available inventory and driving up cost for individual consumers or creating a strong enough revenue stream for the bulk producers to keep cost lower for consumers (OK...stop laughing)
