Highest flowing sbm heads?

What about Original Poster who wants the 350 CFM heads for some unknown combo unknown budget? Forget about him and go off on tangents new hemis are fast, 1,000 hp on stock blocks, no one looks at the late models when out cruising, late models faster then the classics, so and so is smart, so and so is full of it, chinese tubos, fast on a chevy budget, turtles ect ect ect.....

He got his answer. One dude said flow is everything. So buy your heads based on flow numbers and live with the steaming pile of **** you wanted.

There is so much more to picking a cylinder head than flow that flow is pretty low on my list of what I look at first.

Shape, shape and SHAPE is what you look at first. I already gave an example of that. This time I’ll add some detail.

Lets take 2 heads. Both have some work done to then. The lowly cast iron, open chamber W2 and let’s just say the Edelbrock, or the SM. Either one.

Ported, they both flow 280 CFM with 2.055 valves. You tell me which one will make more power. It shouldn’t be hard to figure it out.

That is why you do not buy your cylinder heads or carbs by CFM.
