Man, just Double and Triple Check EVERYTHING if You are gonna go Custom Pistons, off the shelf, i would still Have A KNOWN Good Engine Man/ Machine Shop VERIFY ALL Numbers, ie: wrist pin height, comp height, wrist pin size, material of Pistons considered, fly cut/ valve reliefs needed, final bore size needed ( will yer block take it) MAN, just please Do Yourself a Favor Brother, I ain't trying to rain on your parade man just make sure you or someone that knows what they're doing takes everything into consideration before you start spending a dime.... life WILL be Better and Less Stressful! It always takes me a year or two to build a motor. Due to Research and Money. I have time to research... I don't have money to screw things up

Oh yes I have a pro building the moter. Bumme.. yes it sucks waisting money I built this motor 1 already it spun the main bearings and got the crank hot. It's 30 over already have the new pistons from Egee 10:5.1 comp I was running 360 heads on this moter shaved etc debating instill using them not sure I want to spend the money on fancy aluminum heads would be nice. So just trying to figure out the crank thinking a light weight scat or egle. I have a 318 but I don't want to get it out and I would have to go to dad's house 3 hours away get the truck cherry picker come back. To much work just to steal the crank out of it my mechanic said save it .
