Stop in for a cup of coffee

One of the Superintendents for a local contractor was building a new house for himself and family. I sold his outfit a lotta concrete.
His wife comes up with the idea of making part of their concrete purple :wtf: That's not a color I have available :)
She insists the Concrete be colored. Can't be floor paint has to be concrete dye! I call my color supplier :BangHead: "We don't do that here. What is on the chart is what we supply. You might try combining the Barn Red and the Cobalt Blue, but we make no guarantees and will not be held liable. You didn't hear that suggestion from me."
Concrete color is a funny thing. So many little differences in the base mix can change the color load to load because the dye content is based on the cement content of the load of concrete. My supervisors eventually caved to his pressure about the color and the ramifications if the spousal unit was not pleased :lol: I made Purple concrete, luckily just one load :thumbsup: "She loves it!" was the phone call I get the following day. Sales manager says "Beer's on me." and throws me some cash :lol:
