My stepfather gave us the best relationship advice ever. It never failed me, and when my brother finally accepted the advice, it did not fail him:
1. Never get in a relationship with someone more screwed up than you are.
2. And if the relationship is failing, they can’t “cut you off” if they don’t know where it’s coming from.
